I thought this was an exact interpretation of the scene where Betty is acting like she is possessed by witchcraft. It shows and gives hints about Abby drinking blood to try to kill Goody Proctor and the tension behind all the screaming of Betty, Abby, and the girls sets the scene even more.
This part of the movie is like the play.
